Summary:
The Business Development Officer is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, creating and nurturing relationships with clients, and developing strategies to drive business growth and revenue.
Responsibilities:
Market Research: Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and trends.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients/customers.
Identify Opportunities: Identify potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, and financials.
Proposal Development: Prepare proposals, presentations, and pitches to prospective clients.
Negotiation: Negotiate terms and close agreements with clients to secure business deals.
Networking: Attend industry events, conferences, and meetings to network and generate leads.
Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, marketing, and product development teams to develop strategies for business growth.
Reporting: Track sales and business development activities and provide regular reports to management.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
Experience: Previous experience in business development, sales, or a related role.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze market trends and customer needs.
